On 4th November, the NTA published further plans for core bus corridors. . The plans for corridors 10,11 and 12 remain similar to version 2 with some refining of design in places. e.g public realm at Sundrive Cross. However we still have more questions than answers. We still want to know will Bus Gates operate

NTA has announced that due to the Covid-19 Emergency, there will be an additional public consultation on the current proposals for the Core Bus Corridor project later in the year. The current consultation remains active and submissions will be accepted until 17/4/2020, however, all public information events have been cancelled. To read more click here

The second draft of the Bus Network Redesign has been presented for public consultation. All information is available on busconnects.ie. Make sure to read page 100 of the Revised Network Report for full information on bus frequencies as it contains different information from the brochures in many circumstances. Submission deadline 3rd December 2019.

The proposed Metrolink plan means that an apartment block, a leisure complex and several townhouses could all to be demolished to make way of a metro station. The NTA has removed 3 online time lapse video from a high profile campaign, admitting that they wrongly depicted congestion as much worse than it actually is.
